Before Young & Co the Salon, there was Copper Fox Hair & Beauty.
This is where Y&C founder, Shenaye Young, worked and completed her training to become a hairdresser.
At the age of 20, Shenaye also began managing the salon until the opportunity to purchase the space led to the creation of the Young & Co you know today.

Starting her hairdressing journey at the age of 15, Shenaye developed a love of making people feel confident and embracing self-love.
“I knew from the start of my career that having my own salon where I could reflect my own values and energy would be the dream. To have been able to do this at such a young age, every day really is a pinch me moment.”
Specialising in creating blonde perfection and vibrant coppers, you’ll leave your appointment with Shenaye feeling pampered, with radiant locks and an inner glow (that money just can’t buy, honey).

SENIOR STYLIST
Ali loves working with creative colour clients, all blondes & adores a sharp blunt statement bob!
Believing that hair is a massive part of our identity and an incredible form of self expression, making all of her clients feel themselves and be free to express who they are through their hair is Ali’s thing.
Outside of work, you’ll find her doing something fun - always! Think the beach, skating, gigs with friends, going on adventures with her kids Oka and Ziggy, surfing or just enjoying the sunshine.
AMELIA
JUNIOR STYLIST
At the end of her apprenticeship at Young & Co, Amelia has found her passion in creating bright, impactful blondes, sparkly brunettes and transforming clients with seamless Keratin bond hair extensions. Making her clients feel beautiful and confident is the best part of Amelia’s day.
Outside of hairdressing, you’ll find her at the beach, soaking up sun with friends, or getting amongst anything to do with water and nature. Spontaneous camping trips with friends are the ideal weekend for Amelia - be sure to ask her for her favourite spots and hidden gems when you’re in the salon next!
